Support Porn Harms Kids

Support Porn Harms Kids

Hi all,

[Our Organisation] is very excited to add our support to Porn Harms Kidsan Australian based organisation that addresses the harms of children and young people accessing online pornography.

In our work, we know that children and young people are being harmed by pornography. This will not change unless we all speak out.

That's why we are inviting you to add your voice! ANYONE can add their name to the pledge and stand for:

  • A world where children can grow up without being psychologically harmed by accessing graphic, violent pornography online
  • Prevention of children’s access, given that porn is linked to increased risks of STIs and other harmful physical and relational outcomes
  • Higher standards for ISPs, tech and porn companies to implement technology-related child protection buffers to block harmful pornographic content
  • Adults, including the Australian Government, to exercise due diligence to protect children

Or, if you represent an organisation or are a professional who works with children and young people, you can add your name to the Statement of Research relating to pornography harms to children. This includes academics, child youth advocates, anti-violence workers and community organisations.

The statement has already been endorsed by Dr Gail Dines, Founder of Culture Reframed, Dr Michael Flood, Dr John D. Foubert, Dr Donald Hilton, Dr Caroline Norma, Dr Heather Brunskell-Evans, Dr Meagan Tyler, Maree Crabbe, Tom Meagher and others.

As an organisation, we are incredibly pleased to add our name and endorse this statement, indicating our support of this vitally important child protection initiative.

You may also like to assist Porn Harms Kids by sharing this email with like-minded people who are willing to take a stand.

Thank you for being a advocate for the online safety of Australian children!
